Abstract
The brief of the national CO 2 Commission is to determine scientific and technological potentials, to recommend measures and strategies for achieving the Toronto target and to analyse instruments at expert level. In addition it also looks at ways of reducing emissions of other greenhouse gases and advises the Austrian Federal Government in all matters of climate protection.
