Abstract
The present note reviews the 1987 Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer; the Second Sulphur Emissions Protocol to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE); the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution; the General Agreement on Trariffs and Trade (GATT) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute resolution panels; the International Labour Organization (ILO); the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea; and the human rights conventions.
