Abstract
The Chairman of the SBSTA proposed that the secretariat, under his guidance, prepare draft revised reporting guidelines taking into account the experiences of Parties in using the guidelines and the secretariat in processing the common reporting format, as well as the outcome of the expert meeting (FCCC/SBSTA/2002/2) in order to facilitate consideration of the revised reporting guidelines by the Subsidiary Bodies at their sixteenth session. This note, responds to this mandate. It contains a proposal for the revision of the reporting guidelines, which has been developed to facilitate consideration of this issue during the sixteenth session of the SBSTA. This note should be read in conjunction with the report of the expert meeting (FCCC/SBSTA/2002/2) and the proposal for revision of the CRF tables (FCCC/SBSTA/2002/2/Add.3)
