Abstract
This note is intended to provide the basis for an initial discussion regarding criteria for joint implementation activities, as provided for by Article 4.2 of the Convention, and to encourage delegations to share their views and experiences on the subject. It outlines the concept of joint implementation, as derived from the provisions of the Convention, and suggests possible implications that might need further consideration, as well as considerations on criteria that might help to orient the discussion in the Committee
