Abstract
At its eighth session, the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) considered the issue of submission of third and subsequent national communications by Annex I Parties. It invited Parties to submit their views on this item by 1 September 1998 and requested the secretariat to compile them for consideration at its ninth session. Two submissions have been received. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submission are attached and are reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
