Abstract
In-depth reviews of the third national communications, which according to decision 11/CP.4, are due by 30 November 2001, will start in 2002. In accordance with decision 9/CP.2, the reviews will be carried out by teams coordinated by the secretariat (see FCCC/CP/1996/15/Add.1). Experts participating in the in-depth reviews should be nominated by Parties and intergovernmental organizations. The roster of experts was last updated in 1998 and many experts nominated by their respective governments may have changed their position since then. Updating of the roster in 2001 would enable the secretariat to be better prepared for the review of the third national communications. Parties are invited to nominate experts for the roster. This document contains the nomination form to be used by Parties to nominate experts for the roster
