Abstract
The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), at its sixteenth session, initiated the process for the review of the financial mechanism and invited Parties and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to provide, by 8 July 2002, information on their experience regarding the effectiveness of the financial mechanism (FCCC/SBI/2002/6, para. 23 (d)), in accordance with the criteria set out in the guidelines contained in the annex to decision 3/CP.4. The secretariat has received submissions from seven Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
