Abstract
Apart from the introduction, this note contains four sections. Section II presents information on the programme budget for the biennium 1998-1999. Section III provides further information on financial performance for the biennium 1996-1997. Section IV raises policy issues relating to the financial procedures and the indicative scale of contributions. Section V relates to administrative arrangements.This note will be supplemented by an in-session document reporting the latest information on contributions (FCCC/SBI/1998/INF.4)
