Abstract
The interim secretariat was requested to prepare a compendium of relevant existing studies (see A/AC.237/41, para. 43). The present note responds to this request while at the same time reviewing the current state of knowledge of the global warming potentials of the various greenhouse gases. The note also highlights some of the issues surrounding the global warming potential concept with a view to stimulating discussion in the Committee
