Abstract
This document provides information on activities and plans of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations with particular expertise and/or interest in the three mechanisms of cooperative implementation referred to in the Kyoto Protocol to the Convention (FCCC/CP/1997/7/Add.1, decision 1/CP.3): joint implementation (Article 6), a clean development mechanism (Article 12) and emissions trading (Article 17). The information was compiled in response to an interest expressed by the Chairmen of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), and aims at gaining an overview of work which can contribute to the intergovernmental process. The document contains a summary table of responses to the UNFCCC questionnaire on ongoing and planned activities related to the three cooperative implementation mechanisms. This compilation does not provide information on activities of the secretariat. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, the questionnaire responses are reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
