Item 12 (b) of the provisional agenda
Abstract
This document contains information on the status of receipt of contributions to the UNFCCC trust funds as at 30 September 1999. Table 1 lists the arrears from prior years (1996, 1997 and 1998), the 1999 indicative contributions, the amounts and dates of payment in 1999 and the total outstanding balances due to the Trust Fund for the Core Budget of the UNFCCC.
Tables 2 and 3 report on 1998-1999 contributions to the Trust Fund for Participation in the UNFCCC Process and the Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities, respectively. Table 4 lists Parties in five groups according to the status of contributions, namely:
(a) Parties having paid contributions up to and including 1999;
(b) Parties with 1999 contributions outstanding;
(c) Parties with 1998 and 1999 contributions outstanding;
(d) Parties with 1997, 1998 and 1999 contributions outstanding; and
(e) Parties with 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 contributions outstanding
