Abstract
The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its fifteenth session, invited Parties to submit, by 15 January 2003, their views on the implications of harvested wood products accounting, including views on different approaches and methodologies, for consideration at its eighteenth session. It requested the secretariat to prepare, based on submissions from Parties contained in this document and in document FCCC/SBSTA/2001/MISC.1, a technical paper on harvested wood products accounting, taking into account socio-economic and environmental impacts, including impacts on developing countries, for consideration at its nineteenth session (FCCC/SBSTA/2001/8 para. 29 (k) and (l)). The secretariat has received 10 submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
