Abstract
In order to make the best possible use of limited resources, the directory of participants, containing full addresses, will no longer be issued at every session of Convention bodies. Instead, the secretariat will issue the directory, in a hard copy and on diskette, at the annual sessions of the Conference of the Parties as a contribution to facilitating contact between participants. At sessions of the subsidiary bodies, a single list of participants will be issued reflecting participation in that period of sessions as a whole. Individual lists will not be issued for each separate session or body. The attached provisional list of participants in the first sessions of the Ad Hoc Group on the Berlin Mandate, the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation has been prepared on the basis of information received by the secretariat as at 23 August 1995. A revised, final list of participants in the first sessions of the three bodies will be issued on Friday, 1 September, taking into account additional information received by the secretariat between 24 and 31 August, including any corrections submitted during that period. Corrections should be given to Ms. Francesca Foppiano (Room E.2060) by 12 noon, at the latest, on Thursday, 31 August.
