Abstract
This document contains information on the status of receipt of contributions to the UNFCCC trust funds as at 20 October 1998 (rather than 15 October 1998 as stated in document (FCCC/CP/1998/8).

Table 1 lists the arrears from 1996 and 1997, the 1998 indicative contributions, the amounts and dates of payment of 1998 contributions and the total outstanding balances due to the Trust Fund for the Core Budget of UNFCCC.

Tables 2 and 3 report on 1998 contributions to the Trust Fund for Participation in the UNFCCC Process and the Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities, respectively.

Table 4 lists Parties in four groups according to the status of contributions, namely:
(a) Parties having paid contributions up to and including 1998;
(b) Parties with 1998 contributions outstanding;
(c) Parties with 1997 and 1998 contributions outstanding; and
(d) Parties with 1996, 1997 and 1998 contributions outstanding
