Abstract
This document contains information on the status of receipt of contributions to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) trust funds as at 31 May 2002. Table 1 lists the arrears from prior years (1996-2001), the 2002 indicative contributions, the amounts and dates of payment in 2002, contributions paid in advance for future years and the total outstanding balances due to the Trust Fund for the Core Budget of UNFCCC. Tables 2 and 3 report on contributions received in the biennium 2002-2003 for the Trust Fund for Participation in the UNFCCC Process and the Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities respectively. Table 4 lists Parties in eight groups according to their status of contributions to the
core budget, namely:

(a) Parties having paid contributions up to and including 2002;
(b) Parties with 2002 contributions outstanding;
(c) Parties with 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding;
(d) Parties with 2000, 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding;
(e) Parties with 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding;
(f) Parties with 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding;
(g) Parties with 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding;
(h) Parties with 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 contributions outstanding.
