Abstract
The United Nations Board of Auditors audited the financial statements for the biennium 2000-2001. The full text of the Board's report, which was received by the secretariat on 18 July 2002, is attached herewith as received, without editing. The financial statements as at 31 December 2001 have been issued as an addendum to this document (FCCC/SBI/2002/10/Add.1). The Subsidiary Body for Implementation is invited to take note of the information contained in the audited financial statements and the report of the external auditors. It may also wish to propose appropriate actions which may be included in the draft decisions on administrative and financial matters to be adopted by the Conference of the Parties at its eighth session
